George Barris & Christine
Car customizer George Barris was at the 23rd Annual Huntington Beach Concours ‘d Elegance in
southern California on June 7, 2008, where he was the honorary Marshal/Judge for the show. Christine,
the 1963 Avanti of Nick Berger, was the only Studebaker in the show that day – a day was set aside for
custom and street rods – with Sunday being the day for stock vehicles.
