Summer Car Shows

Tom Edwards of Forest Lake , Minnesota , has been a fan since he saw his first Avanti at the local Studebaker dealership — but never an owner . He went to two Studebaker shows this past summer and sent along more images for members .
Edwards is a retired aerospace engineer and now enjoys freelance writing and photography . His fourth article with Vietnam magazine was in the Autumn 2022 issue and the editor has two more on her desk . He also has had his work published in Collectible Automobile , Airways and Sea Classics .
As an Avanti fan since he first saw his first car years ago , he sent photos from the Studebaker show this past summer and from “ Back to the ’ 50s ,” one of the largest car shows in the country .
