We all know the designs that Raymond Loewy is famous for—the Avanti, Pennsylvania railroad
trains, Air Force One, many corporate logos, and refrigerators—among the many consumer
goods. In the 1950s, Loewy had a hand in helping design and build the road course race track in
Connecticut. In the end, the expense was too great, but goes to show the vast array of work that
